This Lancia Aurelia GT B20, with right hand drive like most of the B20's, belongs to the 1954 IV series, of which 845 units were made, and are the most sought after by Lancia fans. Fitted with the Nardi kit, it has a floot-mounted gear selector. Sold new in September 1954 at the Real Automovil Club de Espana, it was acquired by the vendor in 1987 and entrusted for full restoration to Lancia's legendary restoration specialists, Kappa, of Gorgonzola (Milan) who finished the work in 1990. The total cost of the restoration was of the order of $ 100.000 at the time, as evidenced by the available file of invoices and photographs. Since then, it has done between 18.000 and 20.000 km, always being carefully garaged and maintained by an avid and caring collector. It had a general overhaul in 2000 by Omicron Engineering in England (invoices totalling 10.000 pound) when the engine was adapted for unleaded petrol.
